November 10th 2007:
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia. 1500 mile passage in aprox. 10 days.
December 30th 2007 to January 5th 2008:
Cape Horn. Departing from and returning to Ushuaia.
January 12th to 19th-22nd 2008:
Ushuaia -Puerto Williams - Punta Arenas. 250 mile sail, visiting the Beagle channel and its glaciers, the Cockburn channel and finally entering the Magellan strait to arrive in Punta Arenas.
January 26th to February 5th 2008:
Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales. 300 mile sail, travelling over the nearly entire length of the Magellan strait, skirting the impressive Cape Froward, southern extremity of the American continent. The arrival in Puerto Natales follows the crossing of the Andes through one of the two canyons giving the sea access to the Seno Almirantazgo, the wide expanse of water on the eastern side of the mountains.
February 9th to 23rd 2008:
Puerto Natales - Tortel. 400 miles along the channels of the chilean coast, following the Andes mountain chain. It is deeply indented by large fjords, two or three of which we will visit to admire the vast glaciers cascading down from the upper ice fields, strait into the water in front of the boat.
February 27th to 14th march 2008
Tortel - Puerto Natales. 400 milles. Return trip over the same track .
